Subtly flared, simple and charming skirt. Dressed up or down, for a stroll on the beach or back-to school day, the skirt will diligently serve you ( or your dear teenager ) on those “don’t know what to wear” days.
The skirt is knitted sideways, with extensive use of short row technique for shaping and finished by grafting of the first row to the last row. Therefore it can be easily fitted to virtually any size. Wear it at the natural waist, or slightly below - the drawstring at the top will let you wear it either way.
Skills level: advanced intermediate. Techniques used: provisional cast-on, short-rows, grafting.
Finished measurements: skirt top: 26”/28”/30”/34”/36”, will fit 28”/30”/32”/36”/40” waist or upper hip.
Length: 15”
Yarn: Ornaghi Filati Gange: 6/7/7/8/8 balls.
