Mayfield flower
This pattern was conceived at the bequest of a textiles workshop leader at a place called Mayfield house. I was covering the workshop for her, supporting people with special needs work with textiles in different ways and she wanted some crochet flowers. So I made this pattern and thought it apt to call it The Mayfield flower.
The pattern is available to download for free on my blog. The instructions are written out in UK terms but there is a guide to US terms in the document. It is free for all to use, but please don’t reproduce the pattern elsewhere and claim ownership of it. It is a very simple pattern which can be made in any thickness of yarn… I made the ones on the photos in Twilleys of Stamford organic cotton DK and Drops Belle.
