This is a cute “Mystery” hat in 4 parts (all included in pattern).

The main piece is knitted in the round, seamlessly. There are 2 border edgings which can be knitted join-as-you-go or knitted flat and seamed on when finished. Instructions are given for both options.

The pattern requires approx. 100 yards of Sport weight in a flowery or variegated Main Color yarn, along with about 60 yards of green, for Child size. Work is done on size US3/3.25mm DPNs or short circular needle, though DPNs will be needed for decreases.

The pattern requires approx. 120 yards of Worsted weight in a flowery or variegated Main Color yarn, along with about 80 yards of green, for Adult size. Work is done on size US5/3.75mm DPNs or short circular needle, though DPNs will be needed for decreases.

Pattern was the featured Mystery on the Mystery 220 (more or less) forum in May 2021.
