Das Mayla Tuch ist prinzipiell einfach zu stricken, mit einem blumigen Muster im Inneren und einem luftigen Laceteil nach außen, eine Perlenkante bildet den Abschluß. In der Anleitung sind zwei Größen beschrieben, für Fingering Garn (420m/100g) und für Lace Garn (800m/100g). Wenn du locker strickst, benötigst du etwas mehr Garn als angegeben.
Schwierigkeitsgrad: Schwierig für Anfänger, leicht bis mittel für fortgeschrittene Stricker.
Fertige Abmessungen: Das kleine Mayla Tuch hat eine Länge von ca. 1,3m und eine Tiefe von ca. 48cm. Das große Mayla Tuch hat eine Länge von ca. 1,9m und eine Tiefe von ca. 70cm.
Was du können solltest: yo, k2tog, ssk.
Die Anleitung ist sehr ausführlich geschrieben und mit Fotokursen versehen. Eine Rahmengeschichte begleitet die Anleitung und stimmt dich auf dein Mayla Tuch ein. The Mayla Shawl is basically easy to knit, with a floral pattern inside and an airy lace part to the outside, a pearl edge finishes it off. There are two sizes described in the pattern, for Fingering Yarn (460yards/100g) and for Lace Yarn (875yards/100g). If you knit loosely, you will need a little more yarn than indicated.
Skill Level: Difficult for beginners, easy to medium for advanced knitters.
Finished Measurements: The small Mayla shawl has a length of about 1.4yard and a depth of about 19inches. The large Mayla shawl has a length of about 2yards and a depth of about 28inches.
What you should be able to do: yo, k2tog, ssk.
