Mayura
Peacocks are magnificent and the inspiration for this shawl. Peacocks are prevalent in mythology and stories can be found in most any culture where the bird resides.
Short rowed mitered squares are used to represent the ‘eyes’ in the tail. These purposefully placed mitered squares can show off your most gorgeous color-changing yarn!
This shawl may be knit in all garter stitch or partially in stockinette. There are two sizes written but it is easily adjustable to any desired length. The pattern called for fingering weight but can easily adapt to other weights as desired. Any weight larger than worsted may prove cumbersome.
