This is a pattern for a bead crochet necklace that features a slight optical illusion when looking at it. Only three colors of beads are needed in this pattern. The one shown in the sample is primarily black and white with one additional color. Should you choose a different color combination than I did, you could easily change the entire mood of the necklace, with that one small change. The necklace is crocheted exclusively with size #11 seed beads, and is crocheted 15-around, using the slip stitch method of bead crochet. The one pictured here is finished with a magnetic clasp, but the pattern includes instructions for alternative finishing techniques, including beaded bead caps.

Skill Level: Intermediate - Intermediate + (assuming a good working knowledge of the slip stitch method of bead crochet)
