McNair Tunic
Inspired by the art and architecture of the Glasgow Four, the McNair Tunic features vertical lines reminiscent of Scottish Art Nouveau. The split hem and wide boat neckline allow for ease of movement for all types of play. This quick knit designed for Blue Sky Fiber’s Sweater yarn, can be layered or as worn as a tee for the perfect three-season pull-over.
The tunic begins with creating separate front and back ribbing, which is joined in the round. The back ribbing is worked longer than front. The body of the tunic is worked seamlessly in the round from the bottom up. The neck edge is finished and shoulders are joined before picking up stitches from the armhole for the sleeves.
