Me Time Chunky Slipper Socks
Pamper yourself with a comfy pair of chunky slipper socks that work up fast and will give you the perfect amount of coziness you need to unwind and enjoy some Me-Time.
The Me Time Chunky Slipper Socks Crochet Pattern is suitable for experienced crocheters with knowledge on how to do the waistcoat stitch (also known as crochet knit stitch/center single crochet stitch or split single crochet stitch) however, some photos are provided as a guide, not as a direct tutorial, on how to do and place the required stitches. Vidoes on YouTube are available to help with this stitch. The slippers are worked up as one piece from toe to cuff and instructions are given on how to create a “seamless” join which is a great additional feature of this pattern.
Pattern sizes available are adult sizes 4/5, 6/7 and 8/9 and are based on average foot measurements. Notes on sizing adjustments for a more personalized fit are included with the pattern.
The pattern can be worked up using Loops & Threads Cozy Wool or Bernat Blanket yarns, both yarns are Super Bulky (6) weight. You will require 2 balls of the Cozy Wool (be sure to have a third ball on hand just in case as each slipper uses up most of an entire ball) and if you choose to make these with any of the Bernat Blanket yarns, you will need 3 balls. The pattern for the Cozy Wool uses a K (6.50mm) Hook and an L Hook (8.00mm) and for the Bernat Blanket version the pattern calls for a K Hook and an M (9.00mm) Hook. Stitch markers can come in handy with the pattern as well.
Thank you for your interest in this pattern, I hope you enjoy it!
