This dress is a quick knit. The fabric portion isn’t difficult. Just a very basic amount of sewing knowledge is enough.

The front overlaps and buttons. The back is one piece. This dress is also really cute worn reversed (with the buttons in the back).
Fabric requirements range from 3/4 yard to 1 7/8 yard depending on the size made.
