Meadow Island is a long tidal sand bar covered in delicate seagrass, which sways in the wind at low tide and the waves at high tide. I sail past Meadow Island every time I am out on the water, and it fills me with joy to look at it.

The Meadow Island Cardigan has garter ridge stripes that follow a Fibonacci number sequence. These ridges echo the ebb and flow of the tides across the sandy island. The stripes are close together at the neck and spread out as they go down the yoke. The bottom of the sweater and sleeves are knit in stockinette with a garter stitch hem, button band and collar.

The Linea Pura Fourseason yarn is a soft blend of organic and recycled fibers that is perfect for the Meadow Island Cardigan.
