Meadow Saffron
A lacy ribbed stole which I originally designed for a yarn with about 600 m/100g. The idea was to knit a scarf which can be worn as decorative accessory as well as an outdoor neckwarmer.
A lot of knitters preferred the lacy look being achieved with a finer yarn e.g. 800 m/100g knitted the scarf as stole and blocked it.
Make a choice of your own, knit both variations or a few more. The pattern can easily be changed in width and length with a repeat of 22 sts / 36 rows.
Pattern instructions are charted and a row by row text is given for a full repeat. The stole is knitted from the middle with a provisional cast on of your choice so that both endings look alike.
