Meadow Wood is knit from the bottom up in the round then separated at the underarm to work the front and back separately. Panels are worked back and forth with short row shaping along the shoulder to encourage the natural drop of the sleeve. After the completion of the front and back panels, the shoulders are seamed together before the sleeves are picked up and knit. Finally the stitches along the neck are picked up and worked in the round, then tacked down for a folded or “double” collar.
