The yarns used in this hat are available from your LYS where kits are also available. It’s also a good hat for using up small amounts of leftover yarns from which you’ve made other things. It calls for 7 vivid colors; the mc requires about 60 yards while the other six require less than 20 yards of each. Our kits include enough extra of each that you can distribute the colors as you prefer.

This knits up fast, and it has no long patterns to remember. Owing to the elasticity of wool, and the vibrancy and ultimate softness of Meadowcroft yarns, this will be a favorite hat of whomever is lucky enough to be it’s recipient.
