Warm, reversible, cozy and unisex. I wanted a wrap that could do all of these things and handle the cold winds of Nebraska. Named after our state bird, this design shows off hand-dyed yarns and handles long repeats.

The pattern describes two sizes: small (38 X12) finished size, measuring one exterior side of the wrap and depth which requires about 400 yards fingering weight yarn, or large, (56 X 15) which requires about 800 yards.

Gauge: about 21 sts/4 inches. More importantly, the combination of yarn and needles chosen should provide a soft and pliable drape.

Needle size recommended US 6 (4.0mm) or US 7 (4.5mm)
