A simple summer top with a twist…literally
Sizes: 1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9)
Finished Measurements: 30 (34, 38, 42, 46, 50, 54, 58, 62)
Notes on Sizing: This top is intended to be worn with between 1” of negative ease to 2” of positive ease, so I recommend picking the size closest to your actual bust measurement.
Needles: US 3 (3.25mm) 16” circular needle and US 5 (3.75mm) 24-40” circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge.
A DPN of similar size used only to work the twist.
Yarn: Fingering Weight 550 (600, 650, 700, 750, 800, 850, 900, 950) this is the approximate yardage for a slightly cropped body with a length of about 12-13” from the armpit. If you intend to make your top longer, please increase your yardage
accordingly. For a hip length version, I would add approximately 10%.
Gauge: 5sts and 6 rows =1” in stockinette stitch.
