The DK weight Meadowview Scarf is an engaging knit that has a repeat of 3 sections with 3 different textures to create a fun, stripey design. This scarf is knit in the round and the cast on and bind off edges will be seamed closed at the end to make a flat edge. You will then block your scarf to get nice crisp edges so the scarf will end up being a rectangular shape instead of the tube from knitting in the round. When we knit scarves in the round, it eliminates the ‘wrong side’ and you are left with a double layered fabric with the design facing outwards on both sides.

I have included a link to my video tutorial for making the small tassels. The tassels are optional, but I think they add the perfect finishing touch.
