Mealach means honeyed in Scottish Gaelic, the perfect name for a cowlette knit in this beautiful Winnie the Pooh inspired yarn! A lacey honeycomb brioche border and textured slipped stitch bands gives beautiful detail to the edge of the cowlette. This is a fun knit and makes a fantastic easy to wear accessory, perfect for when you’re out and about! Stretched well during blocking the honeycomb pattern retains a slightly textured pattern, but also gives a beautiful lacey effect.

The pattern is fully written and charted so whichever way you like to read your patterns, you’re covered! The pattern has been tech edited and test knitted. There’s a screenshot of the pattern and a list of the stitches used at the bottom of the photos.

Mealach has a matching shawl in three sizes! Check out Cìr-Mheala to see all the details.
