Meander Sweater
MEANDER is cropped raglan sweater with a beautiful colorwork section at the bottom and two-colored ribbing. You only use two balls of yarn at a time and still get this intriguing multi-colored look thanks to the gradient yarn that is used.
MEANDER is worked in the round from the top down and no seaming is needed which makes it quick and fun to knit. The merino wool I chose for this pattern is nice, warm and soft and becomes even softer after washing.
I love to layer MEANDER over dresses, or wear it with high waisted skirts or jeans.
I hope you will like it just as much as I do! Happy knitting!
This pattern went through tech editing and test knitting. I was not able to find testers for the sizes 2XS, S, 2XL, 4XL, 5XL though. If you are interested in testing one of these sizes, please send me a message.
SIZES
2XS (XS, S, M) (L, XL, 2XL) (3XL, 4XL, 5XL)
with bust circumference of finished garment:
67 (78, 88.5, 99) (109.5, 120, 130.5) (141, 151.5, 162) cm
26.5 (30.75, 34.75, 39) (43, 47.25, 51.5) (55.5 59.75 63.75)“
CHOOSING A SIZE
MEANDER is intended to be worn with 3-5cm / 1-2” of positive ease around the bust and 1-2cm / 0.5-1” of positive ease around the upper arm. This means that the garment is supposed to be 3-5cm / 1.25-2” larger than your bust circumference and 1-2cm / 0.5-1” larger than your upper arm circumference.
Example: Your bust circumference is 95cm / 37.5” and your upper arm circumference is 31cm /12.35”. Then you should choose size M.
When you are in between sizes I recommend choosing the larger size.
