Medeliukas Scarf
The Medeliukas Scarf, is a modern take on the regular scarves and shawls that keep us cozy during autumn and winter. I love wearing a mini scarf to make my winter outfits look more elegant or a warm chunky shawl to keep me warm and cute! But also this was the perfect project to give use to those single skeins and leftover yarn that I the most adorable and thoughtful gift for the holiday season. I don’t even need to guess or ask any measurements so this one can be an actual surprise (and the smallest one can be done in a few hours, while the regular one on the day before and no one will know muahah :) ). Other than that I love that I can wear it in multiple ways, just a simple tie, wrapped around, just seating there as a collar… I am a little obsessed haha! Now into the specifics for the pattern:
SKILL LEVEL:
This pattern was made to accommodate to beginner crocheter, intermediate crocheters and absolute pros! It includes diagrams with written instructions for the intermediate and pros, but also a step by step guide with pictures, for all the newbies and beginners.
TYPE OF PATTERN:
US terminology;
Metric and imperial measurements;
English only;
2 sizes (mini and regular) with tips on how to customize to different measurements in case you want it in a different size or use a different yarn.
MATERIALS:
Size #3 - DK weight yarn, I recommend any yarn with a bit of fuz to make it extra cozy. The use of cotton may make the yarn a bit heavy and floppy, so acrylic and wools would be best.
(less than 100 g / 200m to make any of the sizes.)
Crochet hook to match gauge.
This pattern was made by me and tested by other humans, which means that there may be a few errors, clarifications or improvements to be made.
