This colorwork hat was designed for the Medina Fall Knitting Train that I sponsored. It is such a beautiful time of year in our area of western New York that I wanted the hat to showcase the fall leaves.
The hat is worked in the round from the bottom up. The bottom ribbed rim is folded and sewn under to give you an extra layer to keep the cold wind out.
You will not need the full skein of each color to complete the hat. I had enough yarn to make a matching cowl in the reverse colors. The cowl pattern will be available on Ravelry soon.
