Medio Cowl
Medio Cowl is another crazily constructed cowl (inspired by Brioche Bandido)… first two “halves” are knit in the round with a Fibonacci inspired striping sequence. Then those two cylinders are joined together with a garter stitch center strip that eats up stitches as it is worked perpendicularly between them.

3 contrasting colors aran weight yarn
Large- col 1: 175 yds (160 m), col 2 and 3: 200 yds (183 m)
Small- col 1: 100 yds (91 m), col 2 and 3: 90 yds (82 m)
Yarn I Used:
Large- Jill Draper Makes Stuff, Middlefield; (60% alpaca, 40% merino; 200 yd 183 m/ 113 g): col 1: Capiz Shell, col 2: Marine, col 3: Sea Ice
Small- The Fibre Company, Arranmore; (80% merino, 10% cashmere, 10% silk; 175 yd 160 m/ 100 g): col 1: Ciaran, col 2: Brannah, col 3: Bradan
Play with color…. I chose a neutral and then two skeins in the same color family, but with a different value. I had a TON of fun working with Jill Draper’s new yarn Middlefield as her colors are swoon worthy! When I went to knit the smaller version I chose Fibre Company’s new yarn Arranmore, which is heavenly as well!
