This crochet pattern is for making a bright star shaped cushion, lovely for home décor or as a unique gift :)

You can use 2 colours as I did, or many colours to make the cushion very colourful.

The star pillow measures about 13.8 inches (35cm) in diameter.

The pattern includes two PDF files:

  1. Detailed step by step photo tutorial.
  2. File without pictures for printing the pattern (you need to refer to the photo tutorial in some points of the pattern).

Both are written in US English terms.
It is a good idea to familiarize yourself with the pattern by following the photo tutorial first.
The printable version is best used when you already know the pattern.

Skill level: Intermediate.

A basic knowledge of crochet techniques and stitches required.

All you will need:

  1. Yarn: Hayfield Bonus Chunky, 100 gr. Of course, you can use a different brand with similar weight. The amount of yarn required is detailed in the PDF file.
  2. Size 5.5mm (metric) I/9 (US) crochet hook.
  3. Scissors.
  4. Tapestry needle.
  5. Stuffing material.
  6. For sewing a cushion insert (optional): Fabric, thread, sewing pins. The pattern does not include instructions for sewing an insert.
