A loose, casual fitting hat with buttonhole detail. Light but warm due to the reversing of the stocking stitch to give a sideways rib and short rows help to shape the crown.

Knit in bright colours and contrasting buttons for a simple design. Uses only 100g of Aran Weight yarn - mine was a Lidl special purchase and was 50% Acrylic, 50% Merino. As an alternative I would suggest King Cole Merino Blend Aran.
