The Meekness Scarf is the 8th pattern in my 12-pattern Fruit of the Spirit Collection. This scrappy, striped scarf is reversible and a great stash-buster for all your sock left-overs.

This pattern is knit flat on the long edge and incorporates knit stitch, slip stitch with yarn held in front of work, and braiding fringe.

Yarn requirements are 400 yards/366 meters of fingering weight yarn. Approximately 10 yards/9 meters for both the cast on and bind off and approximately 5 yards/4 meters for each row in the middle. Other supplies needed include stitch markers, tapestry needle, beads or buttons, and fringe-braider or twister (all optional).

Gauge is 20 stitches to 4in/10cm in stockinette stitch on a US8/5.0mm.

Finished scarf size after blocking and excluding fringe is approximately 50in/127cm long and 6in/15cm wide.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is…meekness…against such there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23
