Welcome to my Meeeshka Square,

Designed and named after my Daughter Letisha whom I affectionately call “Meeshka”. This square represents her strength and independence, along with her beauty and softness and her ability to be totally capable of anything she puts her mind to.

The Meeshka square has strong lines in the corners that make it a stunning stand alone piece, however when multiples of this square are joined it creates a piece of beauty and synchronicity. As the corners meet you will see a lovely patterned and textured design and the possibilities of what you can make are endless.

Some ideas that I have are Blankets, Bags, Cowls, Scarves, Table Runners or Centre Pieces, Placemats, Doilies, Bed Runners or wall hangings. Whether you use one colour or multiple colours the choices are open to your imagination.

You can use any 5 to 8ply yarn to make this pattern but you will need to adjust your hook size to suit.

Fiddlesticks Superb 8 non pilling 8ply acrylic yarn.

• Fiddlestick Wren Unmercerised 8ply Cotton
• Scheepjes Catona Mercerised Cotton 6ply

Finished Size: approximately 12cm Square when blocked
