This easy pattern is for a cute little summer dress and matching crown, for a hard bodied baby doll or similar 16 inch doll.

Gauge is not massively important.

Stitches used for the dress are slip stitch, single crochet, and half double crochet. The skirt is worked in the round and the bodice joined afterwards. Skirt comprises of a simple shell pattern and top is worked in single crochet throughout.

Additional stitches used for crown are double crochet and triple crochet. The crown is worked in the round.

Pattern requires approx 100 grms of main colour yarn and a small amount of contrasting colour yarn. Two plain buttons are required for the dress to fasten the straps and 6 fancy buttons or beads needed for the crown decoration.
