Meet Coraline!

This pattern is part of the Supersocke Scarefest 2024 lineup, and is for top-down socks in stitch counts of 40, 48, 56, 60, 64, and 72.

You will meet the spidery “Other Mom,” make a picture portrait of Coraline, meet the “3 Ghost Kids,” and take a trip through the “Spiral Garden.”

Knitter can use any heel, though instructions are included for the very attractive Welsh Heel, and any toe, though instructions are included for a standard decrease toe with Kitchener stitch.

You will need approximately 420 yards/400m of fingering weight yarn. Patterns will show best in a solid, tweed, or tonal. Stitch patterns may get lost in a busy or hand-dyed yarn.

For lower stitch-count sizes, you may make an adult size sock if you use a Sport or DK weight yarn (or 2 strands of fingering weight held together)

Pattern is suitable for DPNs, small circular needles, or 2AAT on long circulars.

You may find you want a stitch marker for Beginning of Round.
