I really love knitting socks with self-striping yarn - they just seem to knit themselves don’t they?!

I designed this pattern with some simple and fun texture that would show off the pretty stripes in this yarn, although you can knit this pattern with tonals, speckled or even variegated yarn too!

The purples, blue and orange colours reminded me of a beautiful morning sky.

These socks are knit in the round, cuff down with a heel flap and gusset and the pattern is written for DPNs but can easily be adapted to needle on any needles. You can also substitute your favourite heel.
