A friend of mine recently went to Paris and, I’ll admit, I was a little jealous. So I thought I would knit an “I wish I was in Paris” shawl. From cobblestone streets to the Eiffel Tower and butterflies in the air, this beautiful shawl will remind me to keep Paris on my bucket list.

The shawl is knit in beautiful I’m Single yarns from Hula Hut Yarns for the large version and, for the small version, August yarn of the month mini kit. Both yarns are wonderful to work with and block so nice. It would also be a great way to us a mix of mini’s or leftover yarns. The color choices are unlimited.

This pattern is easy enough for a beginner and, for the more advanced, will keep your attention by changing colors and stitch patterns. Stitches used are yarn overs, decreases, increases, knit, purl and slipped stitches.
