Spiraling cables twirl up the front of this lightweight cardigan. A perfect layering piece for spring and fall, this classic cardigan will become a wardrobe staple!
The cardigan is worked from the bottom up in one piece with a cable motif running along both fronts and faux seams along the sides. The sleeves are worked separately to the armholes and then joined to the body seamlessly. Raglan decreases shape the shoulders to the neckline. Stitches are picked up along the fronts and the neckline to add the button bands and the collar.
The cardigan has optional waist shaping on the back. Its length is easily adjusted if knitters would prefer a boxier, cropped look.
The cable pattern has both written and charted instructions.
