The “MEG” hat - warm, woolly and cute as a button

As simple as it is adorable, this hat is knit in the round from the bottom up. The flowers are knit separately and sewn on.

THE BASICS

• Pattern includes 5 sizes: Newborn / Baby / Toddler / Child / Adult

• Pattern is written in ENGLISH and uses standard U.S. knitting terms

• Instructions are for knitting in the round on circular and double pointed needles

• Knitting skill level - INTERMEDIATE

• Gauge: 20 stitches = 4 inches (10 cm)

• Approx. 10 (12, 14, 16, 18) yds / 9 (11, 13, 15, 17) m fingering weight yarn for flowers

• U.S. size 5 (3.75 mm) 12” (for 2 smallest sizes) or 16” circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge

• Set of U.S. size 5 (3.75 mm) double pointed needles or size needed to obtain gauge

• U.S. size 3 (3.25 mm) 12” (for 2 smallest sizes) or 16” circular needle or 0.5 mm smaller than gauge needle

• Straight needles U.S. size 2 (2.75 mm) for flowers

• Stitch markers

• Yarn needle
