A classic cabled beanie with moss stitch either side of the cables. There’s a choice of a long or a short rib at the start, so you can either turn the brim up or have it sitting flat.
This beanie is knitted in the round with 100 grams of DK/ 8 ply yarn. The example shown is knitted in Dye Happy Strength, which is 100% NZ Merino, but any DK weight yarn should work well.
It works very well for all genders.
