Megs’s Shawl is a revised and modernised version of the 19C sontag seen in Little Women 2019.

A simple heart shaped shawl worked in stockinette stitch with an eyelet flower motif and a knitted on lace border. Finished with optional cords and tassels. Wear as a shawl or wrap around sontag fashion for that Little Women Style.

In addition to an eyelet lace motif this pattern also features a lace border that is knitted on edgewise after completing the main body and crochet cord ties with tassels. Both written and charts are given.

Gauge is not crucial.
Stitch count is also not critical.

Size can be altered by increasing or decreasing number of rows worked before working eyelet motif.

However, any alteration to gauge and stitch count will alter yardage of yarns required.
