Also a pattern for when you are about to start knitting yet another pair of socks but decide at the very last minute that this yarn is too gorgeous to be hidden in shoes!
These fingerless gloves are worked in the round from the cuff to the hand.
YARN
Fingering weight sock yarn there’s no way you’re going to knit socks with cause it’s so pretty!
Knitarin Sockenwolle, 75% merino 25% nylon, 100 g / 400 m / 437 yds. Col. Greetings from Amsterdam
60 g / 240 m / 262 yds are necessary to make a pair
NEEDLES AND NOTIONS
2.25 mm circular needles or your usual sock knitting needles
1 self-locking marker or equivalent to mark 1 specific stitch
3 markers
tapestry needle
GAUGE
28 sts x 32 rnds = 10 cm / 4” over plain brioche (UNSTRETCHED)
14 sts x 40 rnds = 10 cm / 4” over plain brioche (STRETCHED TO THE MAX)
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Glove length: 26 cm / 10 ¼”
Hand circumference: from 14 cm / 5 ½”
to 27 cm / 10 ½”
Cuff circumference: from 16 cm / 6 ¼” to 31 cm / 12”
SIZE
One size fits kind of all, more or less.
The gloves fit me, my teenage daughter and my husband. Brioche is very stretchy!
