Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve always been in close contact with nature, either by the countryside or by the beach. When I was a kid, I used to keep my grandfather company whenever he was doing his chores around the house and the farm. Long walks on the countryside were always guaranteed, we used to cross hills covered in long wild bushes, the crop fields or the orchard. Thanks to my grandfather Manuel and both my parents, since an early age, I started to become acquainted with wild flowers and plants that decorated the hills and land in the most variegated color palette, ranging from the softer tones to the brighter and vivacious ones, all of them full of beauty.
These socks were inspired by those countryside walks and particularly on rosemary flowers, one of my favorite wild flowers, because of its color, unusual shape and their absolutely delightful scent.
Designed to be knitted in the round, using magic loop, they are knit toe-up and the leg has a lace panel that represents the rosemary flowers. The right sock is different from the left one because of the leaf design on the side of the foot.
For a perfect combination, I used PósPés yarn, the wonderful new sock yarn hand dyed by the lovely Dyed by Alfinete.
