Mekko
Mekko is a sleeveless tunic/dress inspired by the Marimekko designer Annika Rimala and her iconic graphic designs as well as the mod styles of the 1960s. It has a bold graphic pattern, an a-line shape ending at mid-thigh, a button placket, and I-cord accents in a third contrast color around the collar and neck opening. Mekko is youthful, but classic, and easy to wear. Pair it with boots for that classic Sixties vibe, or wear it with leggings and flats for a more casual effect.

Construction Notes: Mekko is a sleeveless a-line dress or tunic with a button-placket at the neck and contrast I-cord piping at the armholes and neck. It is knitted in the round, with a steek at the neck opening and armscyes. It is designed to be worn with approximately 1-2 inches of positive ease. For a tighter fitting garment, knit a smaller size. To lengthen or shorten garment, increase/reduce the number of rounds between decrease rounds.
