Mela Slouchy Bag
This pattern is currently FREE to subscribers of my website.
Introduction
The Mela Slouchy Bag is worked in the round from the bottom up mainly in stockinette stitches, with slip stitches and purl stitches to build folded edges. The decorative apple is crocheted in the round. The lining is sewn inside the knitted bag, and a leather strap is attached to the knitted handles. This pattern contains guidance for lining sewing and leather strap making, but it’s up to you to choose your preferred way.
Sizes
The bag is 27 cm / 11 inches wide, and 49 cm / 19 inches long. It can cover things up to 30 cm / 12 inches long.
The crocheted apple is 8 cm / 3 inches big. And the optional leather strap is 36 cm / 14 inches tall attached.
