Melancia Cowl
A practical & fun, festive cowl, inspired by the purchase of a fun, indie dyed yarn from a NZ dyer. The colours shout watermelon to many Kiwi Knitters, a delicious refreshing fruit, often enjoyed in NZ over summer, & during the Festive Season. Coincidentally, the colours in the sample also shouted Christmas to me, so another festive design was born. Written instructions, & charts, are both included in this design, suitable for an adventurous beginner, and a fun, quick knit for the experienced.
OPTIONS FOR KNITTING:
1) Knit all in one colour, or, in 2 colours, to highlight the TREES & the STARS.
2) A gradient yarn like my design sample, is a really fun option if you can find one that will work for you.
3) You could also experiment with making your own ‘blend’ of gradient, by combining solid/semi solid yarns left over from other projects.
