This pattern is inspired by my rabbit Melchi.

The pattern is made up of African flower motifs: squares, pentagons, hexagons, heptagons and octagons.

There are colour photos, colour diagrams and written descriptions for each aspect of making the motifs and joining them together step by step in 38 pages.

The pattern is made of 3 parts: body / head /ears & tail on 2 pdf files: part 1 body and head / part 2 tail and ears

The size of the rabbit will depend on what thickness yarn and size hook you use. It is better to use a smaller size hook than yarn suggests so you have tighter stitches.

This is ideal for using your scrap yarn, you can make it any colour you like.

It is a stuffed toy, you can use any fiber fill (I’ve used cushion and sofa filling) but you can buy specific toy stuffing from craft shops and online.

There are 4 versions for the ear pattern.

You need to have knowledge of:
making a circle (chain or magic circle)
SC
DC
changing colours
join as you go (jayg) or sewing motifs together

You will need:
Eyes (safety/ brads/ sewn)
Stuffing
Needle
Scissors
