Mélèze is a feminine sweater with sleeves tightened by a long cuffs. The twisted rib raglan and the texture on the sleeves, reminiscent of larch cones, give it personality and character. The sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down in the round. The construction begins with the neckline then the yoke is shaped by some short rows and increases for the raglan. After knitting the yoke and separating the sleeves, the body is worked, from the armholes, in one piece. The sleeves are then taken back and worked in the round to the cuffs.

Gauge: 20 sts & 28 rows for 4 inches/10 cm in stockinette stitch using the larger needles.

Yarn & notions:
This sweater is knitted with two strands of yarn (a fingering weight and a lace weight held together) If you prefer you can use one strand of a DK weight yarn.

• 900 (950, 1050, 1100, 1250) (1380, 1490, 1600) m / 985 (1040, 1150, 1200, 1370) (1510, 1630, 1750) yards of each yarn or one strand of DK weight. Please keep in mind that yardage is an estimate.
• US 4 / 3 ½ mm and US 6 / 4 mm circular needles or size to obtain the correct gauge
• Stitch markers for raglans, stitch holders or scrap yarn, tapestry needle.

Mélèze est un pull féminin avec des manches resserrées par de longs poignets. Le raglan en côtes torses et le motif des manches qui rappelle les cônes des mélèzes lui apportent de la personnalité et du caractère. Il se tricote sans couture du haut vers le bas. La construction débute par l’encolure dont l’arrondi est façonné par des rangs raccourcis. Après avoir tricoté l’empiècement et réalisé la séparation des manches, le corps est travaillé, depuis les emmanchures, en une seule pièce. Les manches sont ensuite reprises et tricotées en rond jusqu’aux poignets.

Aisance conseillée : 10 à 15 cm d’aisance positive.

Laine et matériels :
Le pull se tricote avec un mélange de 2 fils (fingering et lace). Il est possible également d’utiliser un seul fil de laine de type DK.

• 900 (950, 1050, 1100, 1250) (1380, 1490, 1600) m de chaque fil ou un seul fil de laine de type DK. Attention, gardez à l’esprit que les métrages ne sont qu’une estimation.
• Aiguilles circulaires 3,5 mm et 4 mm pour le corps et les manches (ou taille adaptée à votre échantillon).
• Anneaux marqueurs, aiguille à laine, ramasse-maille ou brin de laine afin de laisser les mailles en attente.
