A collection titled Little Red in the City just wouldn’t be complete without a sweater perfect for little red riding hood to wear in the city. A fairy tale draped hood, cape like gathered yoke and flared hem combined with practical pockets, sleeves and a pretty and sturdy honeycomb edging.

Yarn
Heavy worsted / aran weight yarn with a suggested gauge of 4.5 sts per inch / 2.5cm. The hood and gathered yoke require a yarn with good drape that won’t be too stiff or uncomfortably bulky. The honeycomb pattern used on the edges is a cable pattern and requires some stitch definition, but it’s deep texture works well in the somewhat fuzzy alpaca blends shown.
