One more absolutely every-day item in your wardrobe! Variable length and shape, with this pattern you can make a variety of skirts. Customize at your taste with our tutorial!
In my version it’s pencil skirt, made of cotton + Lycra yarn, which helps the thing to stretch and cover the hips and legs with maximum comfort.
On 16 pages of this PDF instruction you will find (British and US standard terms in 2 separate files for your convenience):
1) Sizes and measurements (in cm and inches).
2) Gauge/Tension for this concrete pattern, yarn choice recommendations.
3) TIPS for this and other garments.
4) Stitch key - charts and written interpretation of stitches used in this pattern.
5) Stitch guide - every cluster is described step-by-step (how many times to yo, when to pull up a loop) so YOU WILL BE SURE YOU’RE DOING EVERYTHING ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!
6) Charts with round connection recommendations
7) Line-by-line written and interpretation of every line in Chart.
8) Main instructions (step-by-step with photos and diagrams).
This skirt is calculated for sizes: S/M/L
Waist: 60-70/66-74/74 – 82 cm or 23 - 27/26 –29/29-32”
Hips: 86-92/92-100/100 – 104 cm or 33- 36/36-39/39-41”
Finished length: 57 cm or 22-23”
MATERIALS:
1) 350/400/450 g (TOTAL) Fingering weight thread that has about 320 m in 100 g. (350 yards in 3.5 oz) I used stretching cotton (COTTON PLUS LYCRA) to get a slinky effect. 150 g/150g/100g/100g/100g colors A (Blue),B(vinous),C(beige),D(turquoise),T(pink). This weight is given for full balls (50 g or 1.75 oz), the actual weigh is much less than the sum of all colors. Also you can vary the number of colors and mix them the way you feel.
2) Crochet hook size 3.5-4.00 mm /9-8 size UK / 4 or 6 size USA or any to obtain gauge. The bigger hook you use, the less dense the motifs turn out.
3) Tailoring tape to measure yourself and the item.
