Melissa Top
The Melissa top is a simple, clean lined, oversized and sleeveless cropped top knitted from the top down.
This design is knitted in the round with side increases. Then for several rows, the back and the front will be knitted flat and separately to create armholes. After the desired length of armholes is achieved, you will connect in the round again.
Finally, stitches are being picked up around the armhole and several rows of seed stitch will create an armhole band.
The wide boat neckline will ever so slightly fall off one shoulder. Because this sweater is cropped, I recommend to wear with a tank top underneath it.
Note: You will start casting on with the 16” circular needle. As you progress in the pattern you will change to the 24” needle.
This pattern is distributed by Jade Sapphire or can be purchased here on Ravelry.
