This hat is very soft, comfortable and warm for baby.

To adapt the size pattern is relatively easy. The instructions are given for 0 to 3 months, but I have explained how to adapt the size, so this can be done for a toddler, a child, teenager and adult.

Gauge is not critical, so long as you keep measuring your work, to ensure it fits sizes. A size guide can be provided (also for free), just message me, either on here, or facebook, and I’ll be happy to send it to you via email.

Aran weight yarn is used, with 5.5 mm needles and a cable needle. I have used Woolcraft aran, but I have used the 100 % acrylic as it is extremely soft for babies, on their skin.

I’ve used one colour, but you can be as creative as you like, and use as many colours as you wish.
