The idea for these socks developed from the swatches I knitted for My 7 X’s masterclass. Lines of twisted stitches grew just like a melody, starting with one single repeating motif and spreading out in all its glory. While knitting I thought how there is often music in and around me. Sometimes I don’t even notice myself singing.

Like a few other sock patterns in My 7 X’s collection, the pattern starts with a narrow panel on the side of the foot. Where the cuff starts, it spreads out all around the leg. Single coloured sock yarn would be a safe and tested choice, but they look beautiful if paired with the right yarn that fluently changes along with the stitch pattern.
