All weights are approximate and will vary depending on the brand of yarn you choose and how tightly you crochet.
I used a double knit yarn with a sparkle in it for the white and grey. Normal Stylecraft special dk for the rest of the pattern.
You can of course use any brand of double-knit/light/ 3 weight
This pattern would also work using aran/worsted/4 weight yarn
White- Body and Head- 100g
Grey- Body and Pom Pom-25g
Green -Hat, Scarf, Mittens - 140g
Brown- arms-10g
Orange- nose- 2g
Small length of black for the mouth.
Safety eyes 24mm-
Toy stuffing.
Cardboard disc for the base. 14cm/5inches in diameter.

By using this yarn and hook sizes your finished snowman will be roughly
38 cm/15 inches in height
