ABOUT
The character Melusine hails from French and Luxembourgish folklore. A mysterious and powerful water spirit, she is often depicted as a woman with two fish tails, the body of a snake or dragon. Melusine marries a human prince under the condition that he never observe her true form, but when he spies on her bathing one day and reviles at her secret, she transforms into a dragon and flies away.

The Melusine Top incorporates scale-like picot detailing, a sleek, cropped bodice in fingering weight merino which transitions into a delicate laceweight top with dramatic puffed shoulders and witchy picot sleeves.
