Meet Melvin the Mushroom!
Melvin is an adorable little guy who will melt your heart. He stands about 4 and a half inches tall when made with the recommended yarn and hook size. He’s worked in one piece, from the top down. Gauge is not important, just make sure that the stitches are tight enough so that the stuffing doesn’t show through. He’s worked in a spiral. Use a stitch marker to keep track of rounds. Do not join rounds unless otherwise indicated. All stitches are worked into both loops unless otherwise indicated. Melvin is a great for beginners, with the only challenging part being working invisible single crochet decreases in the BLO. It’s by no means impossible, but it takes some concentration and patience.
