Memoir Cardigan
Cast on coziness when making the Memoir Cardigan. This oversized sweater features raglan construction with deep armholes for extra comfort. The cable detail running along the sleeves brings a touch of extra to the design, and you’ll appreciate the warmth of the generous pockets. This is a must-make for any knitter who has a story to tell.

Yarn Weight 3
Finished size 35¼ (39, 42¾ , 46½ , 50¼ , 54¼ , 58, 61¾ )“ circumference at underarm with bands overlapped. Cardigan shown measures 44”; modeled with 2½ “ of positive ease.
Yarn Juniper Moon Farm Patagonia Organic Merino (100% wool; 382 yd 349 m/3½ oz 100 g): #113 Cinnamon, 5 (5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 8) skeins. Yarn distributed by Knitting Fever.
Needles Size 6 (4 mm): 24–32” and 40–60”circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Markers (m); stitch holders; cable needle (cn); tapestry needle.
Gauge 21 sts and 28 rows = 4” in Broken Rib pattern.
NOTES

• The cardigan is worked back and forth in separate pieces and seamed. After seaming, stitches are picked up around front and back neck edges for the ribbed band.
• A long circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of stitches for the neckband.
