Memories of Maine Shawl
Our family has been going to Maine every summer for many, many years. One of the special memories is driving by the coastline in Kennebunkport after we indulge at the award winning Clam Shack. One of the 2 (so far) designs that was inspired by this breathtaking seascape is this shawl. I named it Memories of Maine as it perfectly encapsulates my memories of these precious times with my family.
Memories of Maine Shawl is an asymmetrical shawl starting with a few stitches and gradually increased to its full width. The pattern alternates between garter and seafoam stitches using variegated yarn in one section and semi solid in the other.
